Are you passionate about helping to build a fair and just world where everyone can claim their rights? Do you have well-developed administration and communication skills? If yes, then you could be an assistant with The Global Campaign for Education (GCE) team at ActionAid UK.

The Global Campaign for Education (GCE) is a civil society movement working towards the common goal of achieving education for all. In the UK, we engage thousands of schools through the highly creative Send My Friend to School campaign, enabling young people to learn in the classroom, take part in special events and hold world leaders to account via their MPs.

As an assistant to the team you will support the management team to develop, implement and monitor all aspects of the Send My Friend to School campaign, from researching content to producing schools materials. You will also coordinate internal communications for the GCE UK coalition ensuring members are informed, briefed and motivated to support as needed as well as organise meetings and support fundraising activities.

With a keen interest in policy and campaigning work, you will assist three key member groups: the Parliamentary, Policy and All Party Parliamentary Groups managing information flow, co-ordinating research, and organising events.

In this varied and busy role, you will be a fast learner with the skills to multi-task. Highly organised you will have an eye for detail and the ability to schedule priorities. You will take the initiative when needed, as well as working well in a team, and are good at building relationships across groups.

This is a great opportunity to develop your skills in a varied role and to apply please visit our website and apply online via the link:
