We now want you to provide pro-active administrative support to the Director of Director of People, Performance & Accountability and help maximise the effectiveness of her team.

 

As Departmental Administrator you will use your admin/PA skills to make sure the Director delivers on core accountabilities as well as manage his/her workload by overseeing and prioritising the flow of information. This will involve managing logistics from scheduling and preparing meetings to answering calls and coordinating complex travel arrangements. You will also be heavily engaged in internal communications activities, such as compiling and distributing our weekly update to all staff. What’s more you will be responsible for compiling key performance data from teams across the organisation and producing performance dashboards. As well as managing basic finance administration, you will also be involved in senior level management meetings taking and circulating minutes. In addition, you will provide ad hoc admin support to other departments when needed to help ensure the organisation runs smoothly.

 

You must be the kind of person who keeps calm under pressure, understands the importance of confidentiality and has extensive experience of providing office and senior level PA support. Great at taking meeting minutes, you will be naturally good with people and be used to working with senior managers. You must have well developed communication, admin systems and PC skills coupled with an eye for detail. You will also be proficient with office technology such as video conferencing and Skype and comfortable coordinating and liaising across teams, particularly in large and/or complex organisations.
