- Under-reported stories - our growing team of journalists covers the stories other media won’t cover with an emphasis on humanitarian relief, corruption, women’s rights and climate change.
- Free legal assistance – TrustLaw is the world’s leading service providing free legal assistance to NGOs and social enterprise. The network boasts 2,200 members, including 450 law firms and corporate legal teams and more than 100,000 lawyers.
- Trust Women - an influential international conference to take action by putting the rule of law behind women’s rights. Every year Trust Women forges new strategic commitments to help women to know and defend their rights.
- Media development- for the past 30 years we have been training journalists and media professional, improving the standards of journalism around the world. We also build platforms for independent journalism like Aswat Masriya, an independent and unbiased political news website launched in Egypt in 2011.
A key part of this role is the management of Salesforce, one of two key strategic platforms within the Foundation. Running on a Unlimited Version of SFDC, the platform supports:
- our TrustLaw service including a secure login customer portal
- our TrustLaw Pro Bono Survey and other key data capture surveys
- registrations and payments for Trust Women, our training courses and other events
- login access and content loading portal for our external contributors to our web products
- management of our grant proposals
- management of our contacts across multiple teams
- management of our newsletter and marketing mailing through integrated apps
We are also looking to integrate our project management processes into Salesforce.
Responsibilities
- Own the monthly reporting on operational performance and metrics across the Foundation, including from Salesforce
- Support the programme Directors in operational improvement, maximising the use of key systems such as Salesforce
- Oversee the maintenance and development of both the technical and operational elements of Salesforce within the Foundation:
- Technical: data architecture, data management, workflows, visual flow, APEX coding, apps
- Operational: processes, training, requirements, reporting
The ideal candidate:
This is a unique opportunity for a candidate with broad operational experience and who can demonstrate the ability to work across both technical and operational elements of SFDC. The successful candidate will:
- Have proven implementation experience of Salesforce on both Operational and Technical sides of projects
- Be able to demonstrate the ability to work with both Operational and Technical teams and feel comfortable working across different levels of seniority, liaising with colleagues based across several countries and from different backgrounds. Have experience of working with Salesforce apps, ideally around email marketing and surveys
- Be able to articulate clear approaches to data architecture and management
- Be someone ambitious, action-oriented and dynamic
- Will have excellent organisational skills and can manage a busy and demanding workload as well as meeting deadlines
- Will be fluent in English. Additional languages are highly desirable
- Management consultancy experience is desirable
