Lumos is an international children’s charity set up by J.K. Rowling to end the systematic, unnecessary and harmful practice of the institutionalisation of children. There are eight million children in institutions around the world, living in situations that expose them to the risk of harm, abuse and neglect.

With the involvement of skilled professionals, we raise awareness of the plight of children to those who can help and promote best practice. Our target audience includes international policy makers, central governments, local authorities, non-governmental organisations, local communities and the general public.

Our mission is to end the institutionalisation of children worldwide by 2050.  To help us achieve this we are looking to recruit to the following position:

The job holder will also be a key contributor to decision making processes and be expected to represent Lumos at national and international events.

You will have relevant experience of the development and delivery of training for children’s workforce staff, including international experience, and experience of working within a structured management framework.
