About the Role
Great opportunity to join a regional structure for Oxfam International – working to facilitate and support high quality programmes across MENA that promote gender equality. The selected individual will provide leadership, develop strategy and coordinate technical services to country teams to increase the capacity and practice of promoting gender equality and women’s rights; she/he will also collaborate on regional campaigning, advocacy and influencing policy promoting gender equality and women’s rights.
Who we are looking for
We are looking for a proven senior team leader with substantial working experience in gender justice and women’s rights in the MENA region. The ideal candidate will have experience, knowledge and passion for advancing gender justice in the MENA region and be bilingual English/Arabic.
In addition, she/he will have excellent proven thematic expertise on related programmatic activities: livelihoods, stand-alone Gender Justice programming, humanitarian response, women, peace and security, women’s bodily integrity, women’s political participation and women’s access to justice.

Location:Jordan - Amman
Job Type:Fixed Term, 24 months
This position may be located in any country in the region where candidate has an existing right to work. The candidates’ ability to work and travel within the MENA Region is required.
