The role
My Rights, My Voice (MRMV) is an innovative global programme engaging young people in their rights to health, sexual reproductive health and education in 8 countries, funded by the Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency (Sida) and implemented jointly by Oxfam GB and Oxfam Novib.
As Global Programme Partnerships Advisor you will support the programme by driving forward the development of proposals and seeking external funding for the continuation of the programme over (period of time?). This will involve seeking funding from a variety of sources, exploring options and concentrating effort on activities with the best chance of success.
You will be expected to provide leadership and guidance for the development of strategic and appropriate fundraising approaches including institutional, corporate streams. The role will also co-manage and support the coordination of the design phase of MRMV in coordination with the Global Programme Coordinator.
What we’re looking for
The programme is at a momentous time in its implementation where it has strong experience and learning on youth agency and is now seeking to build on this and take its impact to the next level.
We are looking for a dynamic and experienced programme funding manager with proven success in securing large funds, managing donor relationships and delivering on partnerships
You will have experience in preparing and managing complex budgets and proposals and will have worked across a confederated organisation. A strong communicator you will be confident working in a multi-cultural environment and motivating others.
Location
This role is full-time, fixed term until March 2016, and is based in Oxford.
