In response to the current situation in Kiev, with travels to remote and insecure locations in Ukraine, Save the Children is in the process of putting together a team provide emergency response support. As part of this we are looking for a Response Team Leader Ukraine Humanitarian Response to provide expertise and support to our upscale in the area. The Response Team Leader will work closely with Save the Children’s partners in Ukraine, on day to day humanitarian issues. The role holder is expected to advise partners within the consortium on broad operational issues, including logistics, support on monitoring and evaluation, reporting, coordination, representation, and security. The post holder will play a key role in building capacity of partner organisations at national and local levels, and in the effective scale up and management of partners’ emergency programmes, should there be an increased humanitarian need, to increase impact and enable positive change for children in Ukraine.
Deployments are expected to last for 6 months with the possible of extension where funding can be secured.
