  • Provide capacity building for country office staff in coordination with SCI Regional Office and HQ
  • Represent SCUK as required in external meetings/other forums.

To be successful you will be educated to degree level in a relevant subject with extensive experience in project proposal development and report writing, particularly in reference to ECHO, DFID, EuropeAid and/or UNICEF. You will have a proactive approach to work and the ability to identify and implement effective processes for achieving outcomes. In addition you will have:

  • Good working knowledge of one or more countries from the region with an understanding of context and operating environment issues
  • Strong communication skills, with excellent written and spoken English
  • Experience or understanding of effective management of PBR risk and/or fee-based contracts
