Contract length: 1 year The role: The Project Leader (Education) will support the Department of Basic Education (DEF) in the implementation of the Map li nèt ale in first year of primary school beneficiary schools grant through the Education project for All (EFA). Through this action, the MENFP seeks to improve student achievement and the quality of learning in the target schools in the districts of West and Northwest. Qualifications and experience: * Master degree in the field of Education or related fields. * Proven professional experience, minimun 5 years in the field of educational project management, with extensive experience in planning, organizing and conducting teacher training. * Proven experience in managing large budgets (> $ 1 million); * Proven experience in supervising field staff located in difficult and remote areas; * Experience in the preparation of quality reports and timely submission * Excellent communication skills (French and Creole, spoken and written); * Able to quickly start projects, plan and coordinate project implementation, including evaluation and monitoring systems. Strong cultural sensitivity and ability to work in a multicultural environment; * Strong analytical, organizational and writing skills; * Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines with minimal supervision; * Willingness to travel extensively in the north and northwest, sometimes in rural isolated areas; * Good knowledge in IT: Windows (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Internet.
