Habitat for Humanity International is seeking a Direct Marketing Manager for our Asia Pacific office. This position is responsible for supporting the annual qualitative and capacity building targets related to Direct Marketing as well as all issues related to donor prospecting and CRM tool.

This position will work under the direction of the Area Manager Resource Development Asia Pacific, and will commit to work collaboratively and cross-functionally across the organization.

Responsibilities

Lead and/or facilitate National Organizations in Asia Pacific to achieve resource development targets through the strengthening and initiation of the direct marketing line of business.
Develop initiatives through research and analysis of marketing trends and communicate insights to achieve targets.
Evaluate and adjust direct marketing strategies for fundraising in collaboration with the NOs
Design, inspire, lead and deliver AP-wide direct marketing fundraising targets in alignment with the IMPACT ASIA campaign and help achieve annual growth plans in direct fundraising regionally
Analyze and report on results of direct marketing efforts; use that information to refine marketing strategies, identify new markets and more accurately target fundraising campaigns.
Monitor effective benchmarks for measuring the impact of direct marketing programs, analyze, review and report on effectiveness of campaigns with emphasis on ROI.
Research and develop standards on direct marketing best practices and donor segmentation trends
Work with the AP Communications Department to determine the key messages and call to action to be included in each communication for the purpose of increasing engagement
Coordinate the sharing of best practices in direct marketing across AP. (i.e. Hong Kong, India, Philippines, Japan, etc.)
Work with NOs to produce and maintain a comprehensive, perpetual plan for all direct marketing fundraising activities
Establish strong working relationships with DM vendors throughout Asia Pacific and serve as the primary point of contact for direct marketing partners in AP.
Work with the Area Manager on establishing metrics with which to measure results. Develop a thorough understanding of KPIs for all campaign elements under the direction of Area Manager
Participate in meetings with the HQ’s direct marketing specialist to optimize all campaigns accordingly and fully integrate with other direct marketing channels under the direction of the Area Manager
Provide support and contribute to the development of strategic marketing plans in support of Habitat’s Special research (including, but not limited to proactive prospect identification and post-screening analysis).

Requirements

5+ years of front-line experience in fundraising from corporations; this includes high net-worth individuals in a large, nationwide setting
BA/BS required, MBA preferred
Demonstrated track record or successful fundraising in an environment of similar complexity. Experience in a multi-national federated organization with the ability to thrive
The ability to ignite a passion and to create and communicate excitement about HFH`s compelling mission
Innovative, creative, strategic and analytical thinker and expert researcher
Ability to derive donor insight and engage RDOs and senior managers and board members in donor relations from time to time and earn and maintain their confidence
Exposure and knowledge on complex fundraising scenario including planned gifts, campaign and endowment gifts, and investment options.
Strong development-related technology skills (internet, social media etc.)
Passion for and commitment to the HFHI mission
The successful candidate will be seasoned and comfortable with soliciting seven figure gifts for HFHI
