About us

Marie Stopes International (MSI) is a marketing focused, results oriented, social enterprise. We operate large scale, effective and sustainable reproductive health programmes in 37 countries across the world.

With a total income of c.£220m we receive significant funding from a number of large institutional donors including the Department for International Development (DFID), mostly in the form of contracts.

About the role

This newly created senior role reporting into the Director of the team will be accountable for DFID bi - lateral funding through high quality management, compliance and data integrity, as well as being responsible for engagement and representation within MSI and externally (DFID).

Key areas for responsibility include:

  • Leading on all DFID funded bilateral contracts.
  • Overseeing country programmes to advice, initiate and manage high quality project inception, contract / risk management, reviews, reports and documentation.
  • Provide high quality input into DFID bilateral proposal and business cases.
  • Build relationships across DFID and MSI to facilitate effective cross team working.


About you

We see you as bringing to the role experience in managing large-scale contracts or donor funded programmes.

You'll have a high level of initiative, being comfortable in communicating in a wide range of environments. Experience of performance based contracts ideally within a DFID environment is highly desirable.

Salary is negotiable on experience, c.£50,000 - £60,000 + pension and descretionary bonus.
