This role is based within the Global Humanitarian Team (GHT), specifically on the SIDA WaSH (Swedish International Development Agency) as administrative support. You will be tasked with capacity building an online platform. This platform has been created to enhance capacity building of organisations included within SIDA WaSH, and is managed by Oxfam GB with monthly live sessions.

 

 

Key Responsibilities 

 

This is an opportunity to support the manager of the SIDA WaSH project on the online platform support, primarily arranging and promoting events and communication with participants.

  • Review progress and any issues being raised
  • Participate in technical meetings to develop content.
  • Ensure we are making best possible use of the platform by communicating the platform provider
  • Support technical and management teams.
  • Responsible for uploading content and managing the logistics around live events on the platform:
    • Setting up timing to fit all participants
    • Ensuring everyone knows when the events are taking place
    • Talking the presenter through the process beforehand and answering any questions they may have
    • Checking connectivity as much as possible
    • Ensuring the live event is recorded and uploaded
  • Ensure a regular monitoring of the platform attendance.

  • Well organised with effective time-management and a proven ability to work accurately with attention to detail and to produce clear written communication. (E)
