Contract length: 6 months unaccompanied


The role

The Change Manager will be responsible for supporting change across the Myanmar Country Office that will ensure effective and high functioning structures, systems, processes, and ways of working are implemented across the organisation to deliver programs for children, supporting program quality, donor compliance, and accountability to all stakeholders, including our beneficiaries.

This will include a core focus on supporting Myanmar to successfully implement the organization wide Award Management Change Project across the full award process (from opportunity to closeout), ensuring the deliverables of this change project are achieved.



Qualifications and experience

  • Significant INGO experience and an excellent grasp of operational issues.
  • Strong experience in large-scale business change projects, particularly embedding organisational design changes
  • Knowledge and experience with project management methodologies and change management methodologies i.e. Prosci. Project or change management certification is highly desirable.
  • The ability to influence and gain agreement for ideas and proposals from a variety of stakeholders
  • A high degree of flexibility and adaptability in order to respond to changing needs
  • Self-motivation, flexibility and able to make judgements as to when to take the initiative on the Programme Leader’s behalf
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a matrix management environment. Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills including influencing, negotiation and coaching
  • Experience of solving complex issues through analysis, definition of a clear way forward and ensuring buy in

  • Ability and willingness to change work practices and hours in the event of major emergencies including travelling at short notice and for extended periods of time
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow tasks and ideas through to completion
