The role

 

This is an amazing opportunity to join Oxfam and lead a new team dedicated to developing and utilising new and innovative approaches to recruitment.

 

You will be passionate about ensuring that Oxfam maintains its reputation for being an employer of choice by working with HR Business Partners and Recruiting Managers, ensuring Oxfam attracts and recruits the right people into a variety of specialised roles across the organisation.

 

You will be flexible in your approach with the ability to shape the role and your  team by understanding organisational resourcing needs and developing customised approaches to recruitment processes.  

 


What we’re looking for 


You will be a strong team leader with a successful and credible recruitment background, with an excellent understanding of how different advertising and recruitment strategies can support organisational needs.

 

You will be skilled in developing creative and innovative approaches to recruitment by researching and harnessing the most effective and up to date tools from supporting with development of advertising materials to socialising roles in the most appropriate places.

 

You must have experience of working with key stakeholders and recruiting managers and have proven experience of developing and maintaining strong working relationships through providing timely and credible advice.


You must be able to generate original ideas whilst understanding the needs of those you are working with – being able to both lead and follow. We are looking for someone with that rare combination of patience and passion, who believes in, and actively promotes Oxfam’s values.

This is a fixed term contract for 2 years.


This role is based in Oxford and flexible working requests will be considered.
