We are looking for someone to provide Administration and HR overall management and capacity to support the South Sudan Humanitarian response and Country Programme Office on the full range of employment issues and administration. They will lead on the strategic direction of the HR team , including designing , implementing and monitoring the HR country strategy for South Sudan , in agreement with Senior Management Team and the HR team.
You will need substantial experience in a Human Resources or Personnel background and also strategic and operational management experience, ideally in fast-paced and difficult emergency contexts. You should also have considerable proven experience of line managing staff, sometimes supporting and coaching and sometimes managing at a distance. In addition you will need knowledge of management concepts and theory, and experience of applying that knowledge to a dynamic and changing situation, supported by a proven ability to work with budgets, including monitoring and evaluation and reporting.
