Agustina joined the Thomson Reuters Foundation in February 2015. She leads membership and outreach for TrustLaw across Latin America to ensure social enterprises and non-governmental organisations have access to high quality free legal assistance. Agustina has a special interest in women’s empowerment.
Prior to joining the Foundation, Agustina co-founded and launched the Latin American headquarters of the Swiss consultancy Impact Economy. She was also Programme Manager for the WomenChangeMakers program for the Womanity Foundation, deploying the initiative both in Brazil and India, and worked with Ashoka in Buenos Aires for to support their Latin America social entrepreneur programs. Her private sector experience includes a period working for the Department of Philanthropy Services at UBS Bank in Geneva, Switzerland.
Agustina has a bachelor degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from New York University. In 2007 she won the British Council Chevening scholarship to pursue a Masters in Social Policy and Development at the London School of Economics. In 2014 she pursued a diploma at the London School of Economics on Entrepreneurship and Innovation in the Age of Change.
