Programme Operations Officer


Rabia is TrustLaw’s Programme Operations Officer. Rabia joined the Thomson Reuters Foundation in November 2017 as the Programme Coordinator for TrustLaw. As Programme Coordinator, Rabia worked closely with TrustLaw’s new members and existing community. She was responsible for coordinating all TrustLaw pro bono projects globally between or international and domestic law firms, and our NGO and social enterprise clients.

Currently as part of the Operations team, Rabia ensures that TrustLaw’s internal systems and tools are being used effectively to enable global working and efficient management of the TrustLaw Programme. Together with the Operations Lead, she assists with change around internal systems and its usage, drives and provides guidance on operational efficiency.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Rabia worked for a range of organisations such as the United Nations Association (UNA-UK), the Women’s Resource Center and the Embassy of Nepal. In 2015, Rabia worked as a Research officer for the Think Tank – Next Century Foundation (NCF), where she authored articles on peace and security issues in the Middle East and Central Asia.

Rabia completed her MSc in Security Studies at University College London (UCL) in late 2017. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Politics and International Relations from Royal Holloway, University of London, which she completed in 2016. Rabia is based in London but has also spent time living in New York.
