TrustLaw and Impact Hub are thrilled to host a workshop for NGOs and social enterprises in Kigali at Impact Hub's facility. At this free workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the TrustLaw service, as well as some of the key legal issues of concern to NGOs and social enterprises. We will also help you to identify your organisation's particular legal needs and explore how pro bono support can help you achieve even greater social impact in Kigali and the wider Rwanda region. Depending on the specific legal needs of participating organisations, topics covered may include anything from addressing common operational challenges such as commercial contracts, employment law, intellectual property or corporate structuring to supporting your organisation's advocacy efforts as it works to influence public opinion and change laws. Additionally, as part of the Clinic, TrustLaw will take each organisation through a Legal Health Check. This tool covers a broad spectrum of legal topics: from setting up a new legal entity and understanding your obligations towards employees, to protecting your ideas and branding. Ensuring that your organisation is “healthy” will save time and resources in the future – helping you to streamline operations and maximise funding opportunities. Organizers TrustLaw is the Thomson Reuters Foundation's pro bono legal service for NGOs and Social Enterprises. The world's largest, it serves almost 4,000 NGOs and social enterprises all over the world through the free legal support of more than 700 law firms consisting of more than 100,000 lawyers.
Refreshments will be provided. Please RSVP as soon as possible on the link above - participation is strictly limited. |
