TrustLaw and BongoHive are thrilled to host a workshop for NGOs and social enterprises in Lusaka. 

At this free workshop, you will have the opportunity to learn more about the TrustLaw service, as well as some of the key legal issues of concern to NGOs and social enterprises. We will also help you to identify your organisation's particular legal needs and explore how pro bono support can help you achieve even greater social impact in Lusaka and the wider Zambia region.

This interactive workshop will explore some of the main corporate and commercial law issues encountered by organisations in Zambia. Depending on the specific legal needs of participating organisations, topics covered may include addressing common operational challenges such as commercial contracts, employment law, intellectual property or corporate structuring to supporting your organisation's advocacy efforts as it works to influence public opinion and change laws. 

This event will also feature a talk by Mweshi Banda-Mutuna, a commercial lawyer and Managing Partner at Mweshi Banda & Associates. Her primary focus areas in practice are commercial advisory, corporate and civil litigation, alternative dispute resolution and competition law.

Also speaking at the event is Gilbert Chama, a Partner at Musa Dudhia & Company whose law practice focusses on investing in businesses in Zambia and helping companies comply with regulations in Zambia. Musa Dudhia & Company partners with BongoHive in providing legal support to startups that are undertaking their entrepreneurial journey. The firm has been in existence for over sixty years maintaining its position as a leading legal services provider in Zambia with a focus on corporate and commercial law and dispute resolution.
