Tips for journalistsHints and tips for better journalism
There’s a reason the end of a Thomson Reuters training course can be such an emotional experience. Participants (and trainers) have had a profound, perhaps a life defining experience; meeting new people, trying new skills and maybe even partying in a different city. But then the bubble bursts. After days of fast-paced, action-packed reporting, now you are back at your desk and wondering how to maintain that enthusiasm – and somehow none of your colleagues really seems to understand.
We know we can’t replace that end-of-course feeling, but this is one place you can come to see what your old “class-mates” are up to, share with them your thoughts about what’s going on, and offer advice and support to your new, global friends. If you’ve been on a Thomson Reuters training course, then you are automatically a member of our Alumni Network. You’ll also hear about new courses, and any other resources to help keep the life-long learning alive.
