About CARE
CARE is one of the world’s leading humanitarian and development charities. We work in 79 developing countries, saving lives in emergencies and finding long-term solutions to poverty for millions of people every year. We put women and girls in the centre because we know that we cannot overcome poverty until all people have equal rights and opportunities. We believe strongly that business has an important role to play in creating opportunities and reducing barriers for people living in poverty and would like to invite you to be a part of making this change happen.
Care International UK has a zero-tolerance approach to any harm to, or exploitation of, a vulnerable adult or a child by any of our staff, representatives or partners. Recruitment to all jobs in CARE International UK includes, in particular, criminal record checks and the collection of relevant references. Safeguarding our beneficiaries is our top priority in everything we do.
We are committed to Equality and value Diversity. We are a Disability Confident Employer and particularly welcome applications from disabled people. We guarantee interviews to disabled applicants who meet the essential criteria for the job (see person specification). If you require the candidate brief or need to submit your application in an alternative format, because of a disability, please do get in touch.
