The Role
Oxfam GB is looking for a consultant, or a consultancy team, to conduct a research study on local advocacy and negotiation on protection. The consultancy will help showcase community-led advocacy, promote an understanding of how it contributes to community protection and how it can be further enabled, ultimately contributing to the building of a more inclusive and effective humanitarian protection system with enhanced capacity for collective and complementary advocacy for protection. Specifics around the scope of the work and expected deliveries are detailed in the attached Terms of Reference.
What we are looking for
A candidate or candidates with excellent knowledge of, and experience with, undertaking field research and with experience with community-based or community-driven initiatives in humanitarian settings, especially with Community Based Protection (CBP) and protection advocacy. In addition, with a deep understanding of research methods and proven experiences applying those methods, including feminist research methodologies
