Hadassah Vui Mombo

Programme Officer, Global Initiatives

Hadassah is a Programme Officer in TrustLaw's global team and is responsible for implementing and coordinating global initiatives for the organization's legal network. She joined TrustLaw in July 2020 as a Project Co-ordinator and was responsible for supporting the team to produce the TrustLaw Index of Pro Bono, Thomson Reuters Foundation's global benchmark that maps the scale and trends of the pro bono legal sector.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Hadassah worked at Safaricom PLC, one of Africa's leading telco's that is responsible for championing M-Pesa, Africa's most successful mobile money service. She held multiple roles during her three-year tenure, most notably, setting up the legal and operations arm of the company's innovation hub and was also involved in projects in the wider Eastern Africa region.

She has a bachelor's degree in Law and has a particular interest in technology and the law. She is passionate about issues that affect persons living with intellectual disabilities and is actively involved in the Downs Syndrome Society of Kenya as a sibling member.
