John Nyoike

Legal Officer, Africa

John Mundia joined the TrustLaw team in February 2023. He handles legal pro bono projects from TrustLaw’s global community of NGOs and social enterprises and supports the implementation of a new project on inclusive economies in Africa.

Before joining the Foundation, John worked for the International Justice Mission as a victims' rights advocate where he sought legal redress on behalf of victims of child sexual assault and police misconduct. He also worked as a Senior Program Assistant delivering landmark results in implementing human rights related programs.

John is an Advocate of the High Court and a Commissioner of Oaths. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree (LL.B) from the University of Nairobi and a Post graduate Diploma in Law from the Kenya School of Law.
