Senior Programme Manager, Global and Impact Lead

As an Impact Lead, Alejandra leads the development of the MEAL framework, including creating new systems to identify, gather, monitor, learn and use strategic data and key case studies; leads on quarterly and end of year reporting activities, analysis and shared learnings; and support the team to increase their knowledge about M&E.

As a Senior Programme Manager, Global, Alejandra develops strategies for global partners, events, comms, and internal learning. Builds networking, knowledge-sharing, and learning tools and activities for our global community; supports the implementation of new functionalities, resources, and tools on the digital portal and in new programming. She also oversees the delivery of TrustLaw key global event, the TrustLaw Awards.

Alejandra joined the Thomson Reuters Foundation in 2016 and was Regional Legal Manager for Latin America until 2021. In that capacity, she delivered TrustLaw’s regional pro bono service, including leading regional member engagement, relationship building and strategic partnerships; strategy, planning, and reporting; management of resources; representation of TrustLaw. She handled the pro bono legal projects from TrustLaw’s community of NGOs and social enterprises, framed and defined the projects, and then connected them with lawyers. She also assisted with the publication and distribution of the research carried out as part of cross-border research programmes.

Before joining the Foundation, Alejandra gained experience in the non-profit sector by volunteering in different non-profits in Argentina and worked for a non-profit in California, United States between 2014 and 2025. Before that, she worked in private practice at Marval, O’Farrell & Mairal, a leading law firm in Argentina for 8 years.

Alejandra has a Degree in Law and Honor Diploma from the University of Buenos Aires and a Non-Profit Management Specialist Degree from the University of San Andres.
