2019 Day of Service - Legal Health Check Workshop
Are you confident that your organization meets all legal requirements? Or are you concerned that there may be risks that you are not aware of?
TrustLaw, JPMorgan and Simpson Thacher are cohosting a Legal Health Check workshop at Simpson Thacher in New York City on April 3.
This will be an interactive legal workshop that offers participants an introduction to TrustLaw, the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s free global pro bono legal service that connects the best lawyers in the world to NGOS and social enterprises working to create social and environmental change.
You will also have the opportunity to speak directly with lawyers from top international firm Simpson Thacher and in-house legal team of JP Morgan, about your legal issues and receive basic guidance. The workshop will include an explanation of how to access more in-depth legal expertise for free through TrustLaw.
The Legal Health Check workshop will focus on the following areas of law: corporate structuring, commercial contracts, data privacy/IP and employment.

12:00 – 12:45pm | Registration lunch and introductions
12:45 – 1:30pm | Preliminary Health Check training for lawyers and Participating Organizations
1:30– 3:00pm | Intake workshop between lawyers and Participating Organizations
3:00 – 3:30 pm | Wrap-up reception/cookies & coffee
