An exciting and challenging opportunity to contribute to the humanitarian crisis in Yemen. As a Partnership Co-ordinator, you will lead the Oxfam Programme on civil society strengthening and professionalization of aid, for Yemen, and also contribute to country analysis and strategies related to the Yemen Crisis. You will work closely with national NGOs/civil society organisations on delivery of effective humanitarian assistance, via direct programme support including business support function management, as well as technical capacity building in humanitarian delivery and organisational development for wider civil society strengthening goals; develop and establish a strategic partnership base for on-going support; consider a balanced partnership base, especially the involvement of women’s organisations; carry out robust Partner assessment of technical and managerial capacity, among other things.
About the MECIS Region
The Middle East and Commonwealth of Independent States (MECIS) region implements and manages programmes in Yemen, Occupied Palestinian Territories, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, Russia, Tajikistan, Armenia, Azerbaijan and Georgia.
