Saferworld is an independent non-governmental organisation that works to prevent and reduce violent conflict and promote cooperative approaches to security. We work with civil society, governments and international organisations to encourage and support effective policies and practices through advocacy, research and policy development, and through supporting the actions of others.
The role of the Country Programme Manager is to provide strong leadership to manage and further develop[ Saferworld’s Nepal programme, leading the implementation of current and future activities and managing relationships working towards a peaceful and prosperous Nepal.
The successful candidate will have a minimum of seven years’ relevant experience in a management post including managing multiple grants/budgets and staff. They will have a good understanding of the discourse on peacebuilding and security and the international policy environment and high level communications skills, including communicating effectively across cultures and with diverse audiences.
