This is a fixed term contract for 18 months
The candidate will sit within the Programme Funding Department and be responsible for leading responses to grants and commercially tendered bids that are complex, high-value, global and/or country funded. They will be responsible for managing opportunities from start to finish, including leading on capture planning and opportunity appraisal (bid/nobid). They will support Oxfam programme staff develop effective bid winning strategies, and will work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to secure necessary inputs and support. The successful candidate will be expected to have and be able to apply a broad range of commercial bid knowledge and experience (in both grants and/or tenders) across a range of donor agency clients and funding mechanisms.
The role is based at Oxfam’s head office in Oxford and may involve travel to country programmes outside of the United Kingdom, equivalent to approximately 12-18 weeks per annum.
