We are currently looking for a Procurement Manager, to be based out of our office near Trafalgar Square, London.

In this role you will be responsible for the global purchasing of goods and services required by our programmes, offering technical guidance and support to the International Procurement Units in London and Nairobi and assume line management responsibility for the team of procurement Coordinators based in our London office. You’ll ensure a high level of procurement delivery, identify trends and produce forecasting information, build capacity within the IPUs, deliver monthly management reports and ensure compliance and continuous improvement.

To be successful in this role you will have significant experience in international procurement, including medical, in reviewing procurement demands and trends and developing strategies to fill identified gaps. You’ll bring experience in people management; providing training and capacity building, strong interpersonal skills, be highly organised and willing to change work practices and hours in the event of major emergencies.

It would also be beneficial, though is not essential, if you have knowledge of the key institutional donors and their compliance requirements in respect of logistics and procurement, and French language skills.
