About us

Marie Stopes International is a social enterprise with an income of c.£250m. We provide millions of the world's poorest and most vulnerable women with quality family planning and reproductive healthcare through a number of innovative models.

The Marie Stopes International (MSI) Global Partnership receives significant amounts of funding from Department for International Development (DFID) through a variety of mechanisms for its reproductive health activities in 37 countries around the world. These funds are subject to donor restrictions and guidelines which must be adhered to.

About the role

Reporting into the Donor Reporting Manager and based in London, the Project Accountant will join the team to manage this growing portfolio. The post-holder will have the opportunity to perform standard budgeting, accounting and reporting, inter company, programme financial analysis and capacity building duties in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles, MSI regulations and DFID grant requirements.

About you

We see you ideally being a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with substantive experience in project accounting and financial management of country programmes or projects. Experience of project accounting and financial management on DFID awards would be beneficial.

Salary c.£38,000 - £40,000 + pension and discretionary bonus.

Closing date: Midnight 10th August.

Interviews are planned for 14 / 15th August, however there is some flexibility around these dates.
