CARE is seeking a Treasury Analyst that will have a broad range of responsibilities related to cash management and banking. This position will have high visibility within the organization in relating to colleagues among all CARE USA Business Units as well as external business partners.  The incumbent will report to the Director, Global Treasury Services and will be the initial front line analyst for all payment and transfer requests, and as such will have primary responsibility in CARE’s fraud prevention and financial controls efforts.  The incumbent will provide research and analysis with other aspects of Treasury activities including the initiation of cash transactions in PeopleSoft and international payroll via CARE’s online payment platform.  The Treasury Analyst will participate in a broad range of projects such as integrating global bank accounts with the organization’s ERP, PeopleSoft Financials, as well as analysis of other value-intensive projects such as implementation of the full PeopleSoft Treasury module. 

 

This individual will be responsible for prudent execution of foreign currency trades via CARE’s online bidding platform. (S)he will support external inquiries from CARE USA Business Units with respect to payments and transfers.  The Treasury Analyst will be responsible for analyzing and reporting on key aspects of CARE’s Treasury activities, costs and operating environment.  (S)he will prepare reports of analysis statements to ensure accuracy and prepare analysis reports for Finance leadership.  (S)he will play a key role in back up to mission-critical Treasury tasks to ensure redundancy and business continuity.  This position will also be responsible for processing all incoming Treasury Unit drop box mail for bank deposit, including donor and non-donor checks, cash, and credit cards. (S)he will serve as the cash management liaison for field office check deposits

  • Treasury Project Analysis
  • Treasury Research, Knowledge and Documentation Management & Analysis
  • Perform all duties as detailed in Treasury Mail and Donation Processing policy and procedure document
  • Backup Capacity for Critical Treasury Tasks
  • Assist with other duties as assigned by Director, Global Treasury Services

 

Required Skills:

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration
  • 2-3 years international Treasury/Cash Management experience
  • Interaction with diverse, multi-cultural workforce
  • Project management
  • Highly proficient with Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Internet Explorer
  • Ability to develop training materials
  • Ability to manage projects from inception to completion
  • 2-3 years' experience with Peoplesoft Financials or other ERP
