TrustLaw is the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s global pro bono program. Our mission is to spread the practice of pro bono worldwide to drive social change. We help high-impact NGOs and social enterprises to grow, streamline their operations and navigate complex laws and regulations by connecting them with free legal assistance from the best law firms around the world. We also deliver groundbreaking legal research on key social and policy issues that our members use to support their advocacy and law reform efforts. Launched in 2010, TrustLaw has grown to include over 4,000 members in 170 countries, including over 700 law firms and in-house legal teams and over 3,300 NGO and social enterprise members.

Job Summary

TrustLaw is looking for a Programme Coordinator to support the team in connecting pro bono projects around the world.

Working with a dynamic, global team, you will support us with all aspects of keeping the TrustLaw programme running smoothly. This will include:

  • Liaising regularly with our members: law firms, corporate counsel, NGOs and social enterprises.
  • Facilitating the process of connecting legal providers to pro bono clients.
  • Monitoring and managing team knowledge and information flow, including shared mailboxes, calendars and phone lines.
  • Scheduling project scoping calls, team meetings and other team events.
  • Administering, monitoring and reporting on accounts and projects on Salesforce, our client relationship management system.
  • Overseeing and reporting on project metrics and the status of projects.

The ideal candidate for this position would be: 

  • A highly motivated self-starter, with an ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Experienced in an administrative role.
  • Interest in legal and/or international development sectors preferred.
  • A proactive, process-oriented individual with excellent client relationship skills and strong attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of Salesforce would be an advantage.

An excellent communicator with first-class communication skills. Fluent English is a must and additional languages would be preferred.

This is a full-time position based in London.
