The total salary package for this position is £39,460- £43,924 per annum* (circa $61,600 - $68,600 USD) including basic salary, programme management allowance and cost of living allowance.

About MAG:
MAG saves lives and builds futures by working with others to reclaim land contaminated with the debris of conflict, to reduce the daily risk of death or injury for civilians, and to create safe and secure conditions for development. MAG shared the 1997 Nobel Peace Prize as a founding member of the International Campaign to Ban Landmines for our work to ban landmines. Our vision is a safe and secure future for men, women and children affected by armed violence and conflict.

About the Cambodia programme:
MAG’s Cambodia programme seeks to address the problems of mine affected communities by providing efficient, effective and safe clearance of land. There are two ways in which this is achieved in Cambodia, EOD (explosive ordnance disposal) and BAC (battle area clearance). This is supported and enhanced by MAG’s community liaison activities, including Risk Reduction Education (RRE) to the local population.

About the role:
This role will provide you with the opportunity to use your project and people management skills to lead a team of national staff across key support functions. Reporting to the Regional Director, the post-holder will be responsible for managing MAG Cambodia’s logistics, procurement, donor reporting and proposal development, HR and administrative functions, with added responsibility for training and developing national staff. You will be responsible for ensuring that all programme management systems are working to enhance efficiency and therefore you will need experience of successfully designing, implementing and promoting new systems. You will also have a key strategic and senior management role in the programme as a member of the Senior Management Team, acting as the Senior Manager in Country as and when required.

About you:
You don’t need previous experience in mine action but you will need experience in overseas project management roles, in an international aid/humanitarian organisation. You’ll need to be a dynamic, motivated, flexible self-starter, able to hit the ground running and have previous overseas experience managing a wide range of support services, ideally supporting large-scale projects. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced project and support services manager to take the next step in their career and grow their skills in a varied and autonomous role.
