We’re looking for a great fundraiser who can inspire our supporters to leave a gift in their will to Oxfam and feel great about their commitment to Oxfam.  This role requires fundraising and marketing experience, event management skills and a passion for stewarding donors.

The role
Working in the Supporter Development Team, you’ll take the lead on plans to deliver an ambitious legacy marketing acquisition and stewardship programme.  From digital recruitment through to events, you’ll deliver a programme of high quality communications that meet the expectations of Oxfam’s most committed donors.

What we’re looking for
We’re looking for someone who understands what it takes to inspire supporters to support Oxfam.  You’ll have sound knowledge of direct marketing and fundraising, and experience of acquiring and stewarding supporters.  Good project management and communication skills are a must, as is the ability to build rapport with senior colleagues and other Oxfam teams. Equally at home briefing external agencies or building relationships within Oxfam, you’ll show strong interpersonal skills, plus the drive, initiative and can-do attitude to make Oxfam’s legacy marketing programme the best in its class.

About Oxfam
A simple, inescapable truth underlines everything we do at Oxfam. There’s enough wealth in this world to go around. It’s not unfortunate that people live in poverty. It’s unjustifiable. It’s not just their problem. It’s ours too. And with the right support, we can beat poverty and injustice. Thousands of people already commit their time and talents to our campaigning, humanitarian and long-term development projects. Now we’re looking for yours.

Please contact the recruiting manager (Emily Wild: ewild@oxfam.org.uk) if you wish to discuss this before applying for this post.
