The Foundation is recruiting a Media and Communications Manager to join a dynamic and global communications team. The full-time position would be based in London.

 The role will encompass the following:   

  • Write and edit a wide variety of communications materials, including press releases, briefs, talking points, newsletters, blogs, success stories, web content, and the Foundation’s annual report;
  • Pitch stories, people, and initiatives to national and international media, ensuring reputable, high-quality coverage and accurate branding;
  • Secure media partners for the Foundation’s annual women’s rights conference and manage all media requests at the conference;
  • Drive employee engagement on internal and external digital channels;
  • Serve as the communications liaison for the various Foundation programmatic teams and identify potential stories of impact from within;
  • Manage the online media centre and content management system;
  • Provide support to managers as needed, including marketing, fundraising, digital and social media outreach.

We are looking for: 

  • Five years of experience in communications, media relations or related fields;
  • A creative quick thinker who is also a highly motivated self-starter with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
  • A confident communicator with first-class written and verbal communication skills;
  • Previous knowledge of Salesforce, content management systems and basic HTML desirable;
  • Fluent in English. Additional languages are highly desirable;
  • Interest in international development a plus.
