Emmanuele Marie Parra

TrustLaw Programmes Officer in Asia

Emmanuele Marie joined the Thomson Reuters Foundation in September 2022 as a Programmes Officer in Asia. She is based in Manila, Philippines and is responsible in managing relationships with TrustLaw’s network of NGOs and social enterprises in Asia Pacific, and connects them with legal professionals to promote legal pro bono practice in the region.

Previously, she worked as a Senior Content Specialist II at the Content Operations in Thomson Reuters Manila and served as the Global Volunteer Network Lead, which is the Corporate Social Responsibility arm in Asia Pacific Region.

Emmanuele is passionate about leading action and advocating for the rights of underrepresented sectors of society. She is an active volunteer and advocate at Voice of the Free, an anti-slavery NGO in the Philippines.

She is a global youth leader who serves as One Young World Coordinating and Managing Ambassador in Asia for five years. She is also part of the Global Shapers Manila Hub, an initiative of the World Economic Forum and an accredited facilitator of #IAmRemarkable which aims to empower women to celebrate their achievements in their workplace and beyond.
