Najrana Imaan

Senior Legal Officer, TrustLaw

Najrana is Senior Legal Officer at TrustLaw.

She is working to help NGOs, charities, social enterprises and social businesses working on Sexual and Reproductive Health Rights in Latin America and the MENA region to access pro bono legal support from the TrustLaw network of law firms, lawyers and corporate counsels.

Prior to joining the Thomson Reuters Foundation, Najrana has worked in a variety of roles intersecting policy and advocacy, research, human rights practice, and litigation, as well as corporate sectors and infrastructure finance for over 16 years. She has been involved in research and advocacy on law and policy reform, in Bangladesh and the United Kingdom, on issues around women and children’s rights, and access to justice.

Najrana is an Advocate of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, and was called to the Bar of England and Wales after obtaining her Bachelor of Laws from the University of Leicester. She holds a Masters in Law from Columbia University.

She speaks English, Bengali, French, and Hindi.

Najrana is based in London.
