Join the Thomson Reuters Foundation in partnership with Ashoka Changemakers for a 1-hour online live Twitter Chat on Thursday 01 December from 1.15 – 2.15 pm GMT to discuss sustainable fashion.

Panel:

Maria Almazan, Ashoka Fellow and CEO of Latitude

@WEARELATITUDE

María is contributing to the transformation of the apparel industry in Europe by placing sustainability across the whole value chain through an open and free network to connect all the actors involved. She is addressing the challenges of the European textile industry’s key stakeholders—manufacturers, brands and consumers—by helping them adopt new ways of working and consuming. She aims to grow her network to at least 20 factories in Spain that generate 300-500 jobs in the local textile industry in the next 5 years, then replicate the model in Italy and beyond.
