The Thomson Reuters Foundation and The Freedom Fund partnered to produce Putting Justice First. The comprehensive report is the first of its kind and addresses several legal challenges faced by victims of human trafficking in India.

The report was published for Bangladesh Legal Aid and Services Trust (BLAST) by TrustLaw in partnership with Norton Rose Fulbright (South Africa), Blake, Cassels & Graydon LLP, J. Sagar Associates, Mughal Barristers, and White & Case. The report analyses the admissibility of character evidence in rape cases, as well as the existence of rape shield laws across seven countries.

The report was published for Liberty Asia by TrustLaw in partnership with White & Case (China), Amauta Asia (Cambodia), Grűnkorn & Partner Law (Vietnam), Christopher Lee & Ong (Malaysia), Rajah & Tann (Myanmar), Morley, Chow & Seto (Hong Kong) and Clifford Chance (Thailand). The report presents common trafficking scenarios in seven countries and shows the laws broken at each step. It is a tool to help front-line NGOs and lawyers secure justice for victims of trafficking.

This research report was produced for the Southern African AIDS Trust and covers the legal framework and human rights implications relating to HIV self-testing. The report analyses the laws of Botswana, Malawi, Mozambique, South Africa, Tanzania, Zambia, Zimbabwe, where HIV self-testing pilot projects may be carried out. Comparative research was also conducted in the United States, United Kingdom and France.

TrustLaw Connect partnered with CMS and DLA Piper International LLP to analyse the legal frameworks that govern domestic violence in 24 jurisdictions. The report identifies the existence of anti-domestic violence laws and how they work in practice.

It provides an overview of Good Samaritan laws in England and Wales, France, the Peopleà¢â‚¬â„¢s Republic of China and the United States. Good Samaritan laws protect persons who choose to assist others who are injured.
