Anna Jay
Anna Jay is Director of Audience Development at the Thomson Reuters Foundation. An audience engagement leader, she has over 20 years of experience in leading audience development, social media, and digital teams for award-winning media brands and global non-profits.
She has a background in science journalism, and is experienced in analytics, social media, editorial newsletters, and audience engagement strategies. Anna oversees teams working in audience development, social media, digital marketing, production, brand and design.
Anna has worked with global and niche publications, with previous roles including Chief Editor for Digital & Engagement at internationally acclaimed science outlet Nature, and stints at the Mozilla Foundation, the Royal Society of Chemistry, and AQA Centre for Education Research & Practice. She is an alum of the Online News Association’s Women’s Leadership Accelerator, and has been an invited speaker at industry events and universities on audience engagement, social media, and science communication.
