Child Begging: A comparative legal overview of 9 countries around the globe / Mendicidad Infantil: Un análisis jurà­dico comparado de 9 paà­ses del mundo

This project represents a collaborative effort to understand the complexities and nuances of child begging in multiple contexts around the world. It was initiated by El Pozo de Vida, A.C. in conjunction with TrustLaw, the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s legal pro bono programme, in order to widen the understanding of how child begging can be handled legally, identify best practices, and ultimately to serve as a guide for legal reforms and political action to address the phenomenon in Mexico.

Este proyecto representa un esfuerzo colaborativo para comprender las complejidades y matices de la mendicidad infantil en múltiples contextos alrededor del mundo. Fue iniciado por El Pozo de Vida, A.C. en conjunto con TrustLaw, el programa global de pro bono legal de la Fundación Thomson Reuters con el fin de ampliar la comprensión de cómo la mendicidad infantil se puede manejar legalmente, identificar las mejores prácticas y servir como guía para las reformas legales y la acción política para abordar el fenómeno en México.
