This project represents a collaborative effort to understand the complexities and nuances of child begging in multiple contexts around the world. It was initiated by El Pozo de Vida, A.C. in conjunction with TrustLaw, the Thomson Reuters Foundation’s legal pro bono programme, in order to widen the understanding of how child begging can be handled legally, identify best practices, and ultimately to serve as a guide for legal reforms and political action to address the phenomenon in Mexico.
