From Lima to Dhaka, governments in developing countries are struggling to cope with the population shift from rural to urban areas and the consequences of rapid urbanization. This report, in Spanish, focuses on the legal advancement of the right to adequate housing in Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Mexico, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay and Venezuela. The report identifies the existence of legislation on the right to adequate housing and how governments have implemented it and how the courts have interpreted it.
